Pairing Support for NEA SMART 2.0

This is the information collection assisting you pair your NEA SMART 2.0 system with your NEA SMART 2.0 APP.

Wi-Fi / LAN connection is cruical for communication with the NEA SMART 2.0 APP.
Recommended is a connection via Ethernet Cable but Wi-Fi is also possible. (Videoguide for Pairing and Wi-Fi Connecting)

WPS functionality with Application Software greater or equal 2.00

The WPS connection is an easy way to establish a permanent WIFI connection between the router and the Base.

  • The WPS activation is possible by pressing 3 x "OK" and 3 x "<".
    The WPS Functionality is active for 2 minutes.
  • Please read the manual for activation of the WPS function of your router.

  • Bring your NEA SMART 2.0 online (see below “Connect your Base to the Internet:” Section or the Manual for details)
  • When a solid Wi-Fi LED is present an Automatic update will be pushed onto your NEA SMART 2.0 Base (LED Flashing)
  • Your NEA SMART 2.0 will be automatically connected to the Cloud and you are able to pair with it after the Update to a Software greater or equal to 5.00
  • Put NEA SMART 2.0 base online as known (see manual and tutorials)
  • NEA SMART 2.0 Base will connect for approx. one minute (WIF/LAN LED permanently on) and then lose connection (WIFI/LAN LED flashing)
  • Set the NEA SMART 2.0 base to Access Point (AP) mode
  • Connect to an end device (PC/tablet/smartphone)
  • Open browser and enter address 192.168.0.2, select IT setting
  • Enter the following character string in the Insert HASH field (best copied from here, only available with Software Versions below 1.70) and confirm.

  • Bring the NEA SMART 2.0 base back online
  • An automatic update of the Base will be pushed (LED Flashing)
